... that 2018's Colour of the Year will have some serious blue/ navy blue pigments within. Last month, we started reflecting on 2017 and all that evolved throughout the year, and I felt moving forward our world needed some classy structure and humble stability given the reality of so many global events. Our deeper and polished blues (navy being a sophisticated favourite over black any day of the week), have a way of quietly doing this. I'm also loving cinnamon-gold tones for 2018. Colours, colors. Two thousand seventeen was a year to revel in nature in ways that appealed to our inner spirit through loved pastimes and simple engagements with life, to create and/ maintain our sense of balance and centering.
My middle sister Jan predicted a mustard-y yellow-orange... and she usually nails her colours so we are now on countdown awaiting 2018's colour reveal this very week from Pantone, The Color Authority Institute. With project deadlines and Xena being buried in exam studies last week, she planned a P.A. spa day last Friday for us to enjoy some later afternoon fun. Included was this year's PVR'ed Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that graced the runway recently in Shanghai. Here are a few favourites (and of course I was crazy-happy and excited to see my loved sheers in mixed-blue fashion blends-- from their gorgeous(!) Porcelain Angel collection segment. Happy Monday and here's to a beautiful week ahead! :)
'Love the open-toe strappy heels; always a sexy and fun favourite on and off the runway. :)
