... a great place to relax, unwind, take in a new view, doodle, and also enjoy this* delicious on-the-go mocha float-- topped with two scoops of this season's flavourful egg nog ice cream... from Aroma Espresso Bar.
This lovely lady has graced us all with her beautiful voice and softness... Ms. Susan Boyle takes us into the holidays...
Religion, its dynamic customs and spiralling belief systems surround us all, especially at this time of the year when we are embraced with that traditional Catholic Christmas wonderment of our savior's birth, colorful lights, rich-smelling pine trees and cones, holiday bakes and sweets, special lunches and dinners shared with family and close friends-- as well as that exciting arrival of Santa transported by all his hard-working reindeers. Along with well-known Hanukkah and Kwanzaa celebrations, last night I discovered a new cultural celebration, called Eid, while chit-chatting with work colleagues at a small holiday get-together. It's totally amazing to learn about new customs and traditions around the world and moreso to share in the peaceful coming together of all religions and nations. While the do's and don'ts are way too numerous to keep a track of at times, one phenomenal message sings from the tree-top-- "let us travel with love and kindness for each other and create a world of upliftment and togetherness for mankind."
From my home to yours... Happy Holidays and beyond the merry and bright, may you share in those priceless moments of quiet togetherness and simple treasures of the heart!
I'm officially off-the-clock for 10 days and will be back on January 3rd...
Much love, ~Suzette

Welcome to the First Official Day of Winter for this year!
Many of us are awaiting that exciting first snow fall on this side of the universe, and most mornings we take that peek out the window to hopefully catch that seductive white veil. And at work, be it in the morning, afternoon or later evening if I have a longer day, I must confess that I am still intrigued with those unexpected flurries, and the pending possibility of catching that winter surprize out my window. It comes from spending almost half of a century in a very tropical climate. I also get that chance to indulge my wild-child persona into all things kid-friendly and playful: catching a few snowflakes on my tongue, showing off my warmer exhaled breath and or making and throwing that winter white snowball. During my very first year, my niece and I would throw ourselves into the thick layers of snow on the lawn, roll around in it and then make our body prints. We also took our chances with executing that gold-medal cartwheel maneuver in the snow. Talk about a winning performance... (lol) What fun!
Wishing you wonderful winter memories and a season that keeps us warm on the inside and out. ~Suzette
