With balancing a variety of projects, I often grab what's nearby and convenient for lunch (which is not always healthy), but this week I took some well deserved time off to head over to the west side of Toronto, to enjoy a spicy curried favourite, curry goat from Chat 'Bout Restaurant. Man, did I have a super delish lunch with their full-flavoured rice and peas, tangy house cole slaw, fresh coconut water and Bob Marley music in the background! Just what I needed on a day off!... some 'yardie luvin' as my Jamaican people would say, and the portions were, well... enough for two to share! Chat 'Bout Restaurant is located at 1552 Eglinton Avenue West by Oakwood, Tel (647) 351-4151. They also provide catering and delivery services. I would say a definite second visit is in order!
'Love that curry (had to dab a little of that sunshine color on the side) and it's a healthy spice also! It was great to meet my namesake (another Suzette) who's a part of this awesome restaurant.
