Can you taste it Teachers? And I mean really taste it. We are down to the wire and now calling it a done year! Yes(!) And we did it (again), so it's time to celebrate another hearty and very successful year. Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations! We kept things whole and intact, took our young kids to the next level academically, socially, and in simple plain language, closer towards all things 'humanly' possible. You had the courage, the guts, the stamina and the lady balls too to do the right thing in the face of so many exhausting days. The field of Education continues to be one of the most challenging. It's never a 'how hard can this be' movement when it involves human lives and being seriously committed to our profession. Now we enjoy a very well-deserved slowing down to embrace the 'less is more' principle as we sail closer towards our summer break. Three weeks ago after snacking on a bunch of sweet grapes, the bare stem in my bowl caught me off-guard in a very refreshing zen type of way, so I played around with it for a few. It still makes me smile, and as it turns out, apparently I'm an artist too. haha
