The wild thing about this transitional time of the year is the heightened curiosity about whether we're going to have a good or bad winter. It's a constant. Good as in 'mild, it could be worse' weather, where we are still able to do many of our summer rituals (no boots required today... :)), or so bad that the 'why can't we have a paid snow month' to stay home with the kids' is a recurring thought in our busy minds, and sometimes out loud. What I'm really investing in and looking forward to actually... is more sleep, and eight full-bodied hours of it for starters, with enchanting dreams that take me to the beautiful and bountiful other side.
