{pretty winter foliage rooted in the snow; heading to a favourite chocolate shop with the promise of some marzipan}
The slower, lethargic tail end of winter moods arrived this past weekend, and in addition to sleeping in, afternoon naps became a necessary reality. It could also be an over 50 thing with alllll the 'physiology' that occurs during that decade. And we happily succumbed to it. Balance at its best, even with lots planned. It is what it is... :) This week will be a catch-up of sorts with household regulars... already in progress with the renewed energy of a five year old. When it's time to rest, it's time to rest. Don't even think of fighting it. And with that we entered March with some sweet little constants that have me thinking of new things to perhaps try. Have a lovely beginning of Spring as 'she' approaches. Spring is always a lady: fresh, bud-ful and ever effervescent. Happy and safe travels this month... ~x
A ♫ soothing track from the weekend, compliments of Benjamin Tissot...

{my sister Gi told me about this Silk's Coconut Coffee Creamer a few weeks ago and at first when i heard the word 'Silk' i figured it contained soy so was not the least bit curious about it; then she told me about it again and this time i mentioned the soy factor and she said no, it's soy, dairy, and gluten-free; i was now curious and got a box last week; currently enjoying it in my morning cup of espresso and have additional plans...; we are milk babies}
{this awesome article really gets it!; sometimes there's so much going on and all at once that we've come to treasure our phones off solo moments; even without the glass of wine; they are so good and needed, and keeps us 'ticking' in more ways than one; can you relate?}
{easily a series you'll either love or hate; there is no middle-road, but very intriguing nonetheless: a 2019 BBC TV Mini-Series: Gold Digger; a chance meeting finds a wealthy older woman (Julia) quickly falling in love with a younger man (Benjamin), but is he or the 'relationship' all it seems to be; 20 minutes in, i wasn't quite sure if i'd watch the entire series, but after little telltale suspenses here and there of Julia's past, i was curious...; and by the end of episode 2, i was behind each and every step and decision she made- to the very end; these BBC series are so winter-mood-worthy: slow and mysterious; others include: Acceptable Risk, and Apple Tree Yard}

{gelato favourite; sampling a new flavour before working on my own back home; #inspiration}
