And all that jazz... Hello Tuesday! My family sends me the most hilarious 'instas' on the daily, many with our younger guys engaged in the most fashion forward lady things. I can't help but laugh my head off and let's face it, these days it's so well needed. In recent times I've also been enjoying a lot of the 1930's party, film, and cabaret wear from my gram's time and really finding a full lift in the moments. The wardrobe of one of my favourite musicals, Chicago, portrays this so well and I'm loving the fun dress and shoe choices here with this lively it's-a-wrap piece. The babes of jazz, and yes, he sure had it coming...
More loves in February... The boys have been raving about Jack Black's Turbo Wash for both hair and body and we're giving them first dibs on this month's beauty picks. Have you tried it? and what do you think? I've tried it and actually love the refreshing all over feel of it during and out of the shower too. The herbs are nicely balanced and the eucalyptus always a respiratory plus during our winter months.
My sister gave me this Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Moisture Co-Wash last winter and I love the way it naturally maintains and moisturizes naturally wavy hair without the need for any added hair tools, after the fact. I saved it for winter (again), and with these days being very wash-and-go as is easy, it's my weekly go-to for that second wash before conditioning.
The easy like Sunday morning polo tee for casual and relaxing all-day wear, even for bedtime too. All boys have that favourite go-to weekend tee that makes the weekend really feel like the weekend. Soft and cotton-cozy for our refueling off days.
A CHANEL at-home winter red on the toes for an added lift especially with keeping things natural or very light on the hands. Layers well with a pretty gloss finish.
Our longer hours indoors and on all seven days of the week can begin a drying number on our natural lips too with our indoor heating. Before you start thinking of 'buying' a lip buffer of some kind, try a mix of (1/2 teaspoon honey with 1 teaspoon granulated sugar) on clean lips with a clean finger, scrub gently and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse, pat dry and apply a light layer of lip balm. Twice weekly works very well.
