Serendipity. Paris feels in New York. Last weekend, Saturday evening to be exact, we watched this romance-comedy-drama, and loved everything about it! Conrad (Jason Bateman) is absolutely hilarious, his best friend Dylan (Billy Crudup) forever suspicious, and Beatrice (Olivia Wilde) exudes pure grace with a touch of the mysterious. It's the kind of movie you snuggle right into without realizing it, —agreeable crackers, nibbles of a favourite hard cheese and a cup of hot and cozy tea (or hot chocolate, or warm red...) close by, for the full experience it truly is. The soundtrack is both enchanting and refreshing. I laughed so hard while enjoying the slower pace of it all. And I'm still envisioning that ~wave lounge chair! in the psychiatrist's office. "What?, but I've lived here since birth." These are the days of winter too. :) 'Hello to our weekend...
{'hanging onto a bit of fall :); a quiet (and needed) 45-minute walk; finally!; 'free-at-last', if only for 45 minutes + font fancy inspiration from above}
{back into an early a.m. breakfast groove with these sunshine mandarins; always a bright moment}
{it always comes back to the deeper relaxation of Natalie's Winter Pine, more here.
{Wednesday cake from Sobeys (dessert for breakfast day); it's a vegan caramel torte enveloped in chocolate fudge; and gluten-free too!}
{light(er) nature reads, and with photos!; 'always preferred over books to this very day}
{currently in progress...; will update; updated!; i have a serious thing for lovely soundtracks—uplifting moments through the simple things of our everyday}
