We're on serious, simple rotation these days with our quiet comforts: non-thriller watches, and for the first time in over 17 years tuning in to watch The Golden Bachelor!, totally unplanned. 'Warm, oven-baked boneless chicken (and lots of it, on repeat) with a variety of dipping sauces in lettuce wraps for restful sleep and 'balance' with our steady falling temps, really hits the spot. Three softer weekend notes ahead. Stay safe, warm, and hydrated. ~xx
Love at First Sight - Our virtual, relaxing movie nights with family and friends (near and far) continue. "After missing her flight from New York to London, Hadley (Haley Lu Richardson) meets Oliver (Ben Hardy) in a chance encounter at the airport that sparks an instant connection. At Heathrow, the pair are separated and finding each other in the chaos seems impossible. Will fate intervene to transform these seat mates into soul mates?" We enjoyed this movie so much rooting for the pair the whole, entire wayyy. :) ...
Mark your calendars Ballet Lovers! I get goosebumps just talking about this day ahead, and even engaging in our 'Morning Warm Up Classes': World Ballet Day, "celebrating 10 years of uniting the world's leading dance companies and artists", from choreographers and composers to ballerinas themselves. I love the cultural collaborations and the calm, peaceful discipline ballet brings into our everyday lives as it uplifts, adds to, and celebrates poise, a balanced structure, respectful communication, civilized behaviours (and of course greater flexibility for our longer haul). November 1st!!!
Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones - In this beautiful and empowering documentary, Author Dan Buettner "travels around the world discovering five unique communities, called 'Blue Zones', where people live long and very vibrant lives." - "What's the best tea to drink on a daily basis?" - "Wine." :) We love the simple down to earth-ness we can all incorporate into our often go-go-go daily lives. #goodreads.
