{movies aside, since late summer we've been madly into 'Dateline' on a laid-back friday night, and even catching up with missed overnight episodes throughout the week. the true crime element is often so unbelievable, and indeed "more twisted than a pretzel," I often follow up with the continued podcast —all with an entertaining group of anchors!}
{back to regular basics: simple, weeknight, pan-seared garlic-infused olive oil salmon; great earlier sunset mood-enhancer. add 1/2 cup pure light olive oil to large searing pan + 8 cloves of garlic (peeled and gently crushed), warm on low heat for 25 minutes, watching carefully to avoid the garlic burning, and giving an occasional swirl; remove the garlic from the pan; up the heat to medium-high and pan-sear the salmon (seasoned with salt and pepper) fleshy side down for 7 minutes, flip and pan-sear the other side for 5 minutes; enjoy warm}
