(one of my dreamy 2020 garden capture favourites this time of the year; our deeper summer foliage intertwined with our soft burnt rose bramble; fog-feels; seasons-in-transition; why i love september :))
There's a saying, "It takes as long as it takes." And here we are slow-coasting our way into September and our upcoming Labour Day where there will be no labouring of any kind, and happily too, as we take in our last lighter-air weeks of summer with: steaming supper broths, long hot showers, and spiced-citrus incense by a cracked window. It's hard to slow down, really hard sometimes, but it's part of a healthy balance to avoid 'derailment', so we are doing such during this month with nothing really planned, except— 'more unwinding'. And then my sister calls and says, "Good morning Scarlet!" She's been looking for me. :) Last weekend I made another round of these, and decided to upload fresh photos this week. I feel happier about these actually. The difference is 25 more minutes in the oven. It takes as long as it takes... This month's artful that got my attention without seeking them out in any form or fashion. Have a lovely long weekend and stay safe everyone. ~xx
