As usual, our times tables at the Grade 3 level are already in progress covering (1x,  2x, and  3x tables in weeks one to two), (4x  and  5x in week three), (6x  and  7x in week four) etc... to our 13x tables, + reviewing back and forth orally and in written form daily with each progressive week plus, plus, plus reviewing them backwards with simple manipulatives (for each student), which helps our children gain a stronger understanding of this basic but often challenging number sense concept...

 

                                         

The supplementals are in our classrooms now...  so here's to another let's-do-this successful year ahead! Any problems please let me know right away. Thanks!

Shocking! I know... :) It's been a while with settling into a new position unexpectedly, pushing more detailed behind-the-scenes projects forward to stay ahead, and then hopping right into our formal Grade 3 evaluations prep. Talk about no time to even think 'winter blues?' There was no time for that. Then came time for a little holiday R & R. And yes, I definitely made time for that. Thanks for your patience with getting back on track with our monthly classroom and at-home warm-up posts. At this point we are rapidly stepping into the early stages of Grade 4 competencies which always seems to excite our Grade 3s. :)
