{favourite film this month: Audrey, a biographical documentary of the life and loves of Audrey Hepburn; hard to resist with that sophisti-hairstyle as she reminds me of my mum's easy look and style back in the late 60's when she starting having us; once we were all tucked into formal school, Mom grew her tresses all the way back. #motherhood :) You've seen the photos... We just had another good laugh about this yesterday}
On my mental note to self is to avoid any potentially sad movies this time of the year. We've all had at least a year of it in some form or another. But that haircut caught me off guard while browsing trailers earlier this month. 'Audrey' pulls emotions all over the place and I actually found the documentary very cathartic and a beautiful authentic tribute. Says Audrey, "I'm a very lucky girl. I've been often through hell, but I've always come out at the other end. Either somebody helped me, or something happened." Well said, and very relatable. Have a safe and peaceful Easter when it comes. More behind-the-quiet-scenes of the month that was... ~xx
