Happy National Banana Day! The fruit that delivers its own sweetness, creaminess, and full-on nutritional wholesomeness. I love having a good half of a semi-ripe banana (peeled and sliced), most days of the week with my morning coffee. On the days that I switch things up with another whole fruit, a smoothie for lunch or solo-night dinner with a few round frozen slices of banana is always a filling treat.
